We had an awesome getaway with my friends. We loved exploring the nearby hilltop monument and the award-winning museum dedicated to Roald Dahl. The beautiful walks and stunning vistas made for great memories. Just a heads up, dining service can be slow, so plan for some delays.

De Vere Latimer Estate is set in a stunning location surrounded by beautiful countryside. The room was very comfortable, with modern amenities and a cozy decor that made it feel like a home away from home. The indoor pool and sauna were great additions that added to our relaxation, and we enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast each morning.
Service at the bar was slow at times.

The dining space at Latimer, 1889, had a lovely selection, and breakfast had a decent variety. The grounds offer stunning views for a lovely stroll. the property radiates charm amidst the beautiful countryside.
The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, leading to long waits for our orders and confusion with drinks. The bar area could use a good scrub to up the vibe and professionalism. The leisure facilities also left much to be desired.

The stunning Chenies Manor Gardens are just around 1.5 km away, offering a lovely place for a leisurely stroll, and the staff were incredibly attentive, making my visit feel special with their thoughtful gestures during breakfast service. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the clean, comfortable accommodations that were perfect for resting after a day of exploring. the room I stayed in was quite far from the main hotel area, which could be a bit inconvenient for some guests.

Lovely stay in a beautiful spot
We stayed for 2 nights in a superior double room and loved the old-school charm of the place. Great location close to hiking trails. The in-room breakfast was ace but the wifi was super spotty at times, which was annoying. a cozy spot for our getaway!

I recently stayed here for a short getaway. The location is stunning, right near beautiful walks with lovely views. The room was comfortable with a cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly, making me feel welcomed. Unfortunately, the wifi was quite slow, which was a bit inconvenient. In the mornings, I noticed noise from the catering carts, making it hard to sleep in. I had dinner one night, but the service was slow. I enjoyed my stay despite a few hiccups and would consider returning.

Had a standard double room that felt outdated, with dust in the corners and a shower head choked with limescale. The whole place felt dank, especially the wet room bathroom, with a toilet that had a leaky cistern—definitely not ideal. Navigating the estate felt a bit overwhelming due to confusing signage. we ended up parking far from our room. Plus, dining options were limited during our stay, with wedding events taking over the bar and restaurant, leaving us scrambling for a table.

The grounds surrounding the estate are stunning and provided a lovely tranquil backdrop for my stay. I really enjoyed the breakfast, which was well-cooked and featured scrambled eggs that were far from rubbery! the wifi was quite slow and it occasionally got a bit noisy in the mornings, making it challenging to sleep in. I felt right at home during my visit!
